Necessary optimality condition for the minimal time crisis relaxing transverse condition via regularization

چکیده

We derive necessary optimality conditions for the time of crisis problem under a more general hypothesis than usual one encountered in hybrid setting, which requires that any optimal solution should cross boundary constraint set transversely. Doing so, we apply Pontryagin Maximum Principle to sequence regular control problems whose integral cost approximates crisis. Optimality are derived by passing limit Hamiltonian system (without use maximum principle). This convergence result essentially relies on boundedness adjoint vectors L∞. Our main contribution is relate this property L1 suitable allows avoid transverse paths. An example with non-transverse trajectories highlights new condition.

Relaxing the optimality condition in receding horizoncontrol 1

Receding horizon control is based on iteratively solving an open-loop nite horizon optimization problem. Despite its success in a variety of industrial applications, theoretical issues such as stability were not completely addressed until recently. It was shown in 5] that by utilizing a suitable Control Lyapunov Function (CLF) as terminal cost, the stability of the receding horizon scheme can b...

A necessary condition of optimality for uncertain optimal control problem

This paper is concerned with optimal control problem whose state equation is an uncertain differential equation. A necessary condition of optimality for uncertain optimal control problem is presented by using classical variational method. Meanwhile, an existence theorem of solution to backward uncertain differential equation is proved.

A necessary second-order optimality condition in nonsmooth mathematical programming

Generalized second–order directional derivatives for nonsmooth real–valued functions are studied and their connections with second–order variational sets are investigated. A necessary second–order optimality condition for problems with inequality constraints is obtained.
